On To Victory
So our beautiful state has a cash problem and it now seems urgent that they cut services and raise taxes. And this is News!? They have spent like there's no tomorrow for years - program after program and now they realize they are going broke. And I thought these were educated people running the state. At least people who could count. So... now you I, the working and fiscally careful, can pay for their programs that help the foolish and lazy and greedy. If I didn't like this state for it's hidden and beautiful natural resources I would move. If I was not so old and set in my ways. if my relatives were not here, if I didn't have any friends... I would move! But that's not the case and it looks like it's time to demand some common sense from our state leaders and so begins the campaign... ON TO VICTORY!

Snowfall
The snow has been comming down all day and I love it! There will be about a foot of new, fresh stuff to play in tonight and this weekend. I'm planning on getting out the skis and snowshoes tonight and giving them as tune up. It will stay light all night due to the reflection of lights on the snow so I can stay out a long time. There's nothing like hauling my frozen but back in t he house and feeling the warmth of the place thaw me out. I love the look of frozen clothing thawing out and leaving wet spots all over the mud room at home. Hot chocolate hits the spot here too and the easy chair just tops off a night of snow play and exploring. So... see ya - gotta go and play now! Mike

F-15s
Things are just getting crazy around here. Yesterday I experienced the excitement of the power of several F-15 fighters as they flew over head about 1000 feet on the way to Gerald Fords funeral. Makes me glad their on my side. Today I'm off to help install one of my phase converters with Jerry... hope all goes well. Hope you're having a great day too!

The new year
No snow so it looks like the white stuff that gets me going is not here... I'll have to kick it in anyway and get some work done. Now I think I may as well be living closer to the equator and ay least be warm!
